Join the small, high-impact marketing team that fuels Meraki’s growth in the Asia Pacific region! We’re seeking an energetic, strategic, and analytical Partner Marketing Manager to design and execute initiatives that will drive revenue through our Japanese channel partners. This role will be based in Japan, and you’ll be part of a cross-regional team that is setting a new standard in partner marketing and creating unique, innovative campaigns that our partners will never forget.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for marketing ‘to’ and ‘through’ several of our largest Japanese channel partners, ultimately with a goal of driving new Meraki leads. You will also be working with our top Japanese distributors to onboard more partners. Your mission will be to work with our channel sales team to mobilise our channel partners – finding innovative ways to educate and motivate our partners’ sales teams, to create lasting relationships between Meraki sales and partner sales, to promote and differentiate the Cisco Meraki brand, and to help our partners grow their business with Meraki. To get results, you’ll need to think strategically and be assertive, and you’ll need a laser-focused ability to execute independently with consistent quality.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create new resources and translate/localize existing collateral to enable partners to easily position and sell Meraki
  • Design and execute creative marketing initiatives for Meraki’s top strategic partners by: (1) building relationships with key partner contacts, (2) developing education initiatives or promotions for partner teams to drive lead generation and new business, and (3) launching effective campaigns and events to help partners share Meraki with their customers
  • Design and launch unique scalable campaigns across our partner community to generate revenue and partner engagement and to increase Meraki’s position as a thought leader
  • Drive channel incentives through our top Japanese distributors to onboard more partners
  • Present the Meraki solution to partners and/or customers via in-person or webinar events
  • Work closely with the demand generation team to align on lead generation activities and campaigns including webinars, emails, landing pages, and more
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Spoken and written fluency in Japanese required
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier school
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing (experience working with Japanese distributors and/or channel partners is a major plus)
  • Innovative and creative problem-solver
  • Exceptional team collaborator, open to idea/project iteration
  • Strong operational attention to detail and time management
  • Comfortable with project management across multiple teams
  • Experience with salesforce.com and Marketo is a plus
  • Events management experience is a plus
