What You'll Do 

Cisco’s Americas Partner Organization seeks an experienced Channel/Partner Incentives & Contra Business Manager to ensure the success of the America’s Partner investment and promotions portfolio.Responsibilities include managing a team of individuals responsible for developing Cisco’s channel partner program investments and promotion strategy. 

Who You'll Work With 

The candidate will lead and facilitate efforts across functional organizations in Sales, Services, Operations, Finance, and various other internal cross-functional and external stakeholders to transform our channel partner program portfolio and investments to align with the organizations goals and objectives. Manage and lead all aspects of partner incentives and contra management from hypothesis to delivery on programs and promotions as well as the facilitation of business insights across the entire portfolio.

  • Deliver actionable insights based on variety of analytics and/or raw data.

  • Executive presence for providing insight either virtually or in person across a number of sales, operations, and finance leaders.
  • Proactive to identify opportunities and contribute to strategic planning and program evolution.
  • Business Partner that strives to learn & understand the business to be an effective insights thought-leader.
  • Subject matter expertise on incentives and promotions to fill organization’s gap as well as build new subject matter expertise across the business.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in related degree (finance, mathematics, data science, information systems, etc).
  • MBA and/or consultant experience preferred
  • Strong financial acumen required including understanding of contra and relevant revenue recognition policies
  • 8-10 years of analytical experience with 3-5 years of services business insights expertise
  • Must have extensive experience with contra revenue management and budgeting
  • Must have Cisco partner incentive experience
  • Strong presentation & communication skills including executive-level presentation experience
  • Query & synthesis skills from multiple database sources with strong business/data analytics experience
  • Broad understanding of the networking industry and partnering go-to-market models
  • Desire to work in fast-paced, changing and global environment
  • Desire for large amounts of teamwork and collaboration but still independently motivated
  • Other skills required: Advanced PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Tableau, SAP Hana
  • Cisco-specific skills required: Channel incentives databases, program & incentive knowledge, FinBi, PDB, PPI, DMR, PMC and working with Cisco field sales or partner teams.
