Unit Description

Sodexo Universities has an opportunity for a Chef Manager at LOYOLA MARYMOUNT-XAVIER HALL /JESUIT MEMBER RESIDENCE located in LOS ANGELES, LA. The Chef Manager will oversee the culinary operations for our Xavier Hall Resident Dining and Catering services.

 

This position will have oversight and mentor approximately 4 frontline employees. The ideal candidate must have a passion for food and innovation, help manage the day to day operations, have the ability to proactively deliver excellent service, and hands on client relations.

 

Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate should have:

  • Culinary leadership experience in a  high-quality food setting.
  • High expectations for customer service and quality of food
  • A good understanding of financials as they to cost controls of food and labor
  • The ability and willingness to develop and train frontline employees.
