What You'll Do

Cisco Capital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cisco Systems, seeks a Business Development Manager to join the Cisco Capital Global Partner team. In this role, you will be working as part of an OEM vendor captive finance team to facilitate sales and maximize value for Cisco led solutions. With your proven ability to identify, qualify, develop and close program opportunities, manage executive relationships, and develop integrated go to market strategies, you will help the team succeed in driving partner preference for leveraging Cisco Capital to sell and deliver Cisco solutions.
The primary function of this role is to create sustainable behavior change in how your assigned Cisco Partners sell using financial solutions and a Life Cycle Management Model to our customers as they acquire Cisco products and services. Working in close collaboration with their respective account and management teams to identify, qualify, and close net-new financing transactions for Cisco Capital.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of new business development working with resale partners, systems integrators and service providers. The candidate will be adept at building relationships with senior partner executives, conversant in positioning alternative selling strategies using financial models and leveraging their importance in Lifecycle Management of IT assets. You will develop Partner relationships establishing loyalty and preference for Cisco Capital over other finance providers. Strategically, you will help to integrate Cisco Capital into Partner's go-to-market strategy and selling motion. There will also be a focus on innovative solutions like Monetization of Managed Services and Open Pay, our consumption model.

Who You'll Work With

You will build deep relationships at all levels of the Cisco sales leadership, Partner leadership and account teams, adding value to the business planning and development process. You will focus on the CFO and other senior executive decision makers and influencers.

Who You Are
You have a BA/BS in business or related field and bring 10-15+ years of business development and financial solution delivery at the CXO level. You have the ability to work well with and leverage a cross functional team. You have excellent communication skills & executive presence with a demonstrated track record of creating, growing, sustaining and influencing CXOs by becoming their trusted advisor. You have a broad knowledge of financial service, flexible consumption business models and Partners. You lead by example with a high degree of integrity, trust and focus on team success.
