Title : OTR Driver
If you're looking for a challenging position with one of the world's leading snack food companies, here's your chance to join our team as a Long-Haul Class 1 Driver.

Hours:
This position would report to the Lethbridge Traffic Department and will work based out of Calgary. The position will be required to work a combination of 2-day and 3-day over-the-road runs each week. The assigned runs will be dependent on current business needs.

Description:
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Operate a tractor/trailer truck to make long-distance pick-ups and deliveries of our finished products.
  • Check and assist in the unloading of the trailer.
  • Fully inspect the vehicle prior to beginning the route to ensure proper and safe handling conditions.
  • Collect all proper authorizations prior to beginning route.
  • Maintain an accurate DOT log.
  • Ensure safety and compliance of load.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Completing Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Food Safety Pre Requisite Programs (PRP/oPRP) that is required for your area

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 Drivers License.
  • Experience operating LCV is an asset
  • 3-5 years tractor/trailer driving experience.
  • Able to cross the US/Canadian Border.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain professional disposition even when faced with difficult situations.
  • Able to complete routes safely in varied driving conditions (city/country/difficult weather).
