What You'll Do
The Client Executive will be responsible for developing and executing aggressive growth strategies and an action plan to maximize Cisco's opportunity. The Client Executive will manage a sales teams across IT and business unit groups that will include a "sell-to, sell-with and sell-through" model. They will have booking and expense responsibilities and be accountable for solid long-term business decisions (including people development, customer loyalty, sell-through channel strategy and balancing short-term business issues within Cisco against long-term goals). 

Who You'll Work With

The Client Executive will be responsible for annual revenue portfolio and will manage a sales team including SLED Account Manager(s), while working closely with a Systems Engineer, a Customer Solutions Architect, Technical Solutions Architect as well as technology specific Product Sales Specialists, Services group and the Channel organization globally. This role will have direct responsibility for the product strategy and execution and as such, he or she will partner with Cisco Service to formulate and drive an all-encompassing focus across the full solution lifecycle. 

Who You Are

1. SLED experience, specific to the State of Texas Government - Identifying, developing and implementing key initiatives that align with the State of Texas Government.  

2. Go to Market Sales Model - Leading /coaching teams through transformation with Account Planning/Opportunity Identification, Business Relevant / Customer Value Selling, Business Disciplines, Challenger Sales Strategy

3. Financial Performance - Exceeding bookings goal (by geography, architecture and vertical), managing Opex goal, and maintaining forecast accuracy; Providing visibility and in depth knowledge into numbers (customer insights, macro/micro trends, consumption models)

4. Team Development - Attracting, developing and retaining high performance Account Team talent (career development, coaching, performance management and hiring). 

5. Building a Winning Capability and Leading Change - Strategically leading and influencing your own team along with an integrated cross-functional teams including the Customer Value Acceleration Team, Services, Capital, Partners, Advanced Technology teams (Collaboration, Enterprise Networks, Data Center), Marketing, and others. Focusing on contributing to the long term success of NY Enterprise and Global Enterprise Segment by being a collaborative leader amongst your peers. Consistently striving to improve and reinvent yourself.

The minimum requirements for this role are:  
*	Ability to lead team and set strategy and execution.
*	Experience selling to State and Government entities - Specifically, the State Texas agency 
*	Experience and knowledge of the accounts associated with the State of Texas and other Texas Government agencies
*	5+ years of management, selling solutions to senior executives at named accounts
*	Experience with Cloud technologies & business models
*	Software licensing experience

*	Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.
*	Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing a sales organization for 50+ people
*	Ability to travel within the assigned territory is required.
