Description:
The Client Service Manager (CSM) is a professional level position that requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing defined contribution retirement plan clients and possibly defined benefit, non-qualified, tax exempt and/or governmental plans, as well as financial advisor relationships. The CSM will ensure client satisfaction through client interactions to consult on administrative updates, flawless execution of plan enhancement and management of all client projects. This position also works closely with sales, recordkeeping and operations staff, and provides guidance to more junior staff within the team. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communications skills, along with a solid knowledge of the retirement industry and competitive environment.
 

  • Minimum of 3 years of proactive service experience, ideally in a financial services environment
  • Retirement services background strongly preferred; tax-exempt experience considered a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills and presentation skills
  • Strong commitment to timing and quality standards
  • Proven analytical and technical skills
  • Proven ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player
  • Proven organizational skills and prioritization skills
  • Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
  • Travel up to 10% is required
  • FINRA Series 6 & 63 and life insurance licenses required within 120 days of hire
