Position Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the establishment\implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for all operational areas of the clinic.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of long-range plans.
• Participating in the selection, training and supervision of all non-provider clinic staff.
• Planning and coordinating daily work assignments and operations.
• Evaluating performance, recommending merit increases and corrective actions for all non-provider clinic staff.
• Resolving problems, both administrative and operational (including the maintenance of clinic property, computer systems and installed software applications) and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards are met.
• Assisting in the development\implementation of cost effective policies and procedures for all administrative and operational areas of the clinic.
• Assisting with day-to-day accounting matters including bank deposits and the control of all matters pertaining to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Serving as a liaison between clinic and administration
• Working with provider to ensure quality patient care and services are provided at clinic.
• Gathering and reporting data for administration.
• Maintaining the strictest confidentiality.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Prefer Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years in a healthcare/clinic setting.
• Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory or management position required.
• Essential Skills - Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems. Knowledge of office management techniques and practices.
• Knowledge of computer systems, programs and Medical Billing computer applications.
• Skilled in the operation of office equipment.
• Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities. Able to Multi-task projects.
• Essential Physical Requirements – Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
• Working Conditions – Normal medical office environment. Occasional evening and weekend work.
