Position Summary:

We are looking for SeniorCare nurses to provide services in the  Lawrence area immediately!

Arbour SeniorCare provides mental health services to residents in extended care facilities throughout Massachusetts, from the Berkshires to Cape Cod.  Our Nurses and Clinicians help residents directly and provide nursing home staff with consultation and support.

The responsibilities of outreach clinical staff may include assessment of residents and provision of ongoing care which can include both individual therapy and guidance to nursing home staff in behavior management.  In all facilities, we provide medical staff in tandem with psychotherapists.

Nurses must have prescribing privileges. and experience working in a Senior Care environment.

 
Requirements
  • Master’s-Level Psychiatric Nurse Mental Health Clinical Specialist, certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Must have DEA registration, as well as all requirements in MA to prescribe.    
  • Master’s degree or higher in mental health nursing from an accredited college or university recognized by the National League for Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice at the highest level of independent practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a clinical nurse specialist in psychiatric and mental health nursing with APRN-BC designation in one of the following areas: 1. Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing; 2. Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; or 3. Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner​
