Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team as the Nutrition Manager at Stillwater Billings Clinic in Columbus, Montana. Stillwater Billings Clinic is a rural integrated health care organization bringing together a physician clinic and hospital services to deliver quality coordinated care. The dietitian in this facility will provide care to acute and skilled nursing services to inpatients, diabetes education and medical nutrition therapy to outpatients, and provide oversight to the Food Service.  

  

The ideal candidate will:

  • Initially be 50% food service management and 50% clinical, focusing on menu revision and development. As the position progresses, it will shift towards a higher focus on clinical with an emphasis on program growth in the inpatient, outpatient and community programs
  • Be a Registered Dietitian
  • Be a motivated self-starter; with a proven track record for program development
  • be interested in obtaining a CDE credential 
  • Have an interest in menu development for the retail café as well as patient services
  • Be skilled in budget development and control
  • Have the opportunity to participate in community or employee-based wellness events
  • Be a team player, and possess excellent time management skills
  • The ideal candidate must be able to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff

 

Position Summary

Functions as the in-unit lead Clinical leader for a small - medium account. Manages the daily operations of nutrition services through direct supervision of both non-exempt employees and entry-level exempt professional employees.

Key Duties
- Directs daily operations of nutrition programs and ensure customer and client satisfaction levels are met.
-May provide direct nutrition care to population served
-Executes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments; and collects and reports outcomes.
-Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for nutrition services and promotes nutrition services.
-. - Manages employees to ensure they meet goals, cost controls deadlines, and collect outcomes.
-Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel).
 

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
