Description

This position works closely with the Sr. Director of Clinical Processes.  The Manager will direct, supervise and coordinate team activities.  This position ensures staff complies with all regulatory initiatives and policies and procedures and works with senior management to ensure effective clinic operations.  The position also collaborates with stakeholders, operational partners and training teams to ensure successful implementation of initiatives, to ensure policy and procedures are established as required, and to monitor for continuous quality improvement opportunities directed toward achievement of clinical and healthcare outcomes.

  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages a performance management process which includes: performance planning and results for assigned programs; advising, supporting and ensuring performance requirements, goals, measures, and assessment activities are established, met, tracked, and reported

  • Manages, plans, and supervises activities for assigned team members in an efficient and effective manner utilizing time management skills to facilitate the total work process

    • Provides constructive information to minimize problems and increase customer satisfaction

    • Seeks ways to improve job efficiency and makes appropriate suggestions following the appropriate chain of command

  • Supervises assigned personnel and ensure follow ups:

    • Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions

    • Supervises staff attendance and PTO requests

    • Provides employee coaching and guidance-acting as a resource

    • Assists in interviewing, training, and orientating staff

    • Supervises staff for the inability to complete responsibilities and provide time management advice to staff

  • Participates in the planning, and execution of continual process improvement efforts, policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance functions related to Clinic Operation activities

    • Supervises compliance with new initiatives for continual process improvement of the care delivery programs

    • Supervises compliance with new policies, procedures and work flows that enhance operating efficiency of the care delivery programs

    • Collaborates with Clinical Operations to evaluate the success of process improvement efforts and implements solutions for growth opportunities

  • Manages team projects from initiation through delivery:

    • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, financial, quality and client-satisfaction goals

    • Oversees and manages staff and consultant/vendor productivity

    • Ensure proper development of business requirements and documentation

    • Foster team environment promoting creativity, innovation, and results orientation

  • Attends required meetings, contributing and participating in committees as needed

  • Conducts research and complex analysis to interpret information on initiative issues and problems to make informed decisions or for making recommendations to key stakeholders

  • Performs all other related duties as assigned
