Job Description

Arbour-Fuller Hospital is licensed,private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Mass.Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. There are also partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for patients with psychiatric and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. The Clinical Program Manager manages the programs they are responsible for in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of the hospital.  This position is responsible for defining program goals and initiatives and maintains a safe work environment through staff consistency, communication, teambuilding, and retention.  Through the development and management of personnel and fiscal resources, maintains a safe and therapeutic environment, thus ensuring quality patient care in accordance with the Arbour-Fuller Hospital mission and philosophy.

Job Requirements

Education:

Master’s Degree in social work with current licensure, Bachelors in nursing with current Massachusetts registered nurse license, Associates degree in nursing with current licensure and requisite experience will be considered.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience with inpatient behavioral health population. Previous supervisory/management experience required.  CPR certified.

Ability to communicate effectively through spoken word and in writing.

Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to interact compassionately and appropriately with employees, patients and their families on a regular basis.

This person must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provided care appropriate to the age and level of care of the patients served at the facility.  This individual will be accountable for clinical functioning, staffing, performance management, and staff development.  They will be responsible to identify and address opportunity to enhance the clinical program.

Reports to Director of Nursing or designee.  Interacts with patients, patient's families and all internal departments.
