The Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac division of PGIM Real Estate Finance is seeking a Closing Administrator to join our Closing team.  The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and comfortable working with individuals both co-located in the same office as the candidate as well as elsewhere throughout the U.S.  This position is located in PGIM’s Arlington office and will report to the Agency Closing Director. 


The incumbent’s primarily responsibility is to manage the post-closing to delivery process.  The successful candidate is required to manage the flow of information from various internal and external parties, and perform data entry and quality control checks to ensure data integrity to meet strict delivery deadlines.  Other duties include assisting Loan Closers with various closing tasks, which include but may not be limited to the following:          


• Compile documents from agency data sites for electronic delivery to Lender’s Counsel

• Perform tasks in our proprietary loan database including vendor set-up and generating templates for review and approval by Loan Closers

• Review monthly reconciliation reports to help clear aging balances

• Assist with the disbursement of fees to vendors

• Assist with the reconciliation of fees for lost deals

• Ensure that Lender’s counsel is meeting day of closing delivery requirements

• Perform standard office duties 

• Interact with originators and underwriters in connection with the loan closing process

• Perform loan database functions in connection to the loan closing process

• Assist Closing team in maintaining data integrity in loan database

• Upload required documentation into loan database


• Strong office administration skills

• Relevant work experience in a mortgage business a plus

• Working knowledge of mortgage loan documents required for closing and servicing loans preferred.  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Strong organizational skills required with the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment where meeting established deadlines are critical.

• Strong interpersonal/customer service skills essential with the ability to create/build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.

• Self-motivation and detail oriented is essential

• Ability to multitask on several transactions at once

• Ability to work collaboratively

• Familiarity with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) & ability to learn new applications
