What You'll Do 
You will help us engage Cisco engineering and product management teams to ensure the Software as a Service (SaaS) requirements are thoroughly understood and will consult with these engineering teams to advise and recommend optimal 3rd party cloud services suppliers.  We are seeking a Cloud Services Commodity Manager who will be responsible for understanding the industry and market of cloud infrastructure service providers, including 3rd Party Cloud SPs (i.e. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, RackSpace, etc.), co-location service providers (i.e. Equinix) and micro-services suppliers.  This role will monitor usage patterns across Cloud Service Providers to ensure optimal cost management.

The Cloud Services Commodity Manager will also be responsible for Contract and Cloud Infrastructure Supplier management to support the proposed SaaS solution, lead negotiation of cost and terms as well as the articulation of technical capabilities & risks associated with the recommended cloud services supplier. 

Who You'll Work With
This role works closely with Cisco's Business Units, Supply Chain Product Operations, Global Procurement Services, Cisco Finance and  associated governance groups to validate the solution, interface with the cloud service providers, and manage cost and compliance.  You will also work closely with teammates on the Supply Chain Software & Services Global Supplier Management team who work closely with each Cisco Engineering team. 

Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree in Business or Technology
* 7 years experience in hosted infrastructure and/or cloud infrastructure supplier management, software supplier management, Software as a Service product management or similar discipline
* Strong technical background in networking/telecommunications industry
* Contract negotiation and management experience
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Cloud Infrastructure and SaaS vendor/product market
* Strategic planner with global vision and ability to communicate well with leaders and associates at every level both within Cisco and suppliers
