What You'll Do

Cisco seeks an experience Go To Market Program leader to drive innovative, cutting edge capabilities spanning public and private clouds, software and hardware solutions, while working in a global, dynamic and fast paced environment.

This role is for someone who wants to drive complex solutions, bringing offers to market while working with and across the world’s most innovating companies. You will have a high impact on new sources of revenues, identify new business opportunities, and creating comprehensive go-to-market programs. You will lead global efforts to drive customer adoption coordinating across sales, marketing, partner channels, engineering teams and services. This role will leverage your ability to take a business plan and translate it into a strategic program, and turn the strategy into an execution machine.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop Go-To-Market plans for technology solutions spanning private & public clouds, security, containers, cloud edge, and other cloud solutions.
  • Analyze market segments, target customers, and collaboratively generate recommendations for the best path to revenue goals.
  • Translate business case to strategic program approach, and execution level program plan.
  • Work closely with project manager to align detail level project timelines, dependencies, and metrics tracking.
  • Coordinate across other GTM activities being motivated by Sales, Marketing, Channels, Services. Align all groups toward common goals and timelines.
  • Drive clarity in assumptions, forecasts, routes to market, geographic specific approaches.
  • Design and run demand creation efforts including front-line evangelism with customers, partners, and user communities.
  • Create pipeline management process including lead tracking from Marketing to post-deployment customer lifecycle opportunity tracking.
  • Understand and have experience with different consumption, subscription models and offerings, including implications on both vendor sales and channel compensation models.
  • Support marketing in content development, consistency of messaging, and alignment to target audience.
  • High level competitive analysis, statements of differentiation, and crafting statements of value proposition
  • Fearless evangelism of solutions across internal and external audiences, including supporting events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Proactively network and build relationships inside Cisco as well as with partners including Google, AWS, Microsoft Azure.

Who You Are

  • Experience in leading GTM efforts developed across functional groups and external partners.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting revenue generation.
  • Prior product management, technology alliance development, cloud solutions, product marketing, consulting and/or business development experience ideal.
  • Experience proposing, defining and leading executive level strategy and business development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of software and ability to translate technical capabilities to business offerings.
  • Proficient with math and analytics to produce basic spreadsheets with calculations.
  • Great at presentation software (aka ppt).
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Able to work in ambiguous situations and work autonomously.
  • Awareness of what and when to escalate to break down barriers, and drive decision-making.
  • 7-10 years industry experience.
  • MBA or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel 30% domestically & internationally.
  • Ability to lead meetings across global time zones.
