Job Details

The GFS Manufacturing Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) Financial Analyst will be responsible for the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of NA Site Finance sites its business partners. Perform certain financial and month end reporting, manufacturing finance specific activities in scope from a centralized location in Puerto Rico on behalf of North American (U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico) manufacturing sites.

**Month End & Reporting Processes**

+ Ensure Monthly closing processes in scope are done on a timely basis with accuracy

+ Prepare Accruals as needed

+ Works with the GR/IR accounts for the SAP Sites

+ Validates PPV results

+ Processes month end processes including deferrals, VEMP and Interco entries

+ Prepare the account reconciliations for the assigned accounts and ensures all reconciliations are submitted in Cadency system for Manager's approval within the required timeframe

+ Perform Allocations, Cost Center Assessments and Profit Center assessment in collaboration with site Finance

+ Prepare journal entries for Annual Standard Cost Revision, Volume calendarization and other similar transactions in scope

+ Ensure compliance with due dates established for the closing process and provide a visibility to the site through the dashboard

+ Submit any restructuring projects in the system (Metastorm), prepare budget or forecast and tracking the expenses for applicable sites only.

**Sales & Impairment Activities**

+ Coordinates the Quarterly Impairment Review with the site corresponding teams

+ Prepare budget depreciation and explain fluctuation for applicable sites

+ Perform the Sales and Cost of Sales Reconciliation and validate the GMX data to ensure all sales and cost are properly recorded using the correct unit of measure and MPG, including the Earn In submission.

**Financial Reporting Initiative (FRI) / Segmentation**

+ Ensure process change entries are posted in line with guidance

+ Preparation of Trial Balance for review

+ Review of Allocation Drivers and support queries from the relevant FD's/site finance teams

+ Partner with Global Financial Services (GFS) and Center teams to resolve queries


+ BBA with major in Accounting required

+ Certificates or Licenses: CMA or CPA desirable


+ At least three years of experience in the Accounting field

+ Experience in the Manufacturing industry preferred

+ Experience in Cost Accounting preferred

+ Experience in any SOX or compliance area preferred

Technical Skills

+ Computerized accounting systems knowledge (SAP, etc)

+ SOX basic understanding


+ Business Acumen
