What You'll Do

You will be part of the Collaboration Analytics team within the Strategy, Planning and Operations Team. You will working on the next generation business models and accelerating the evolution of sales through analytics capabilities. As a Business Analyst, your role will provide business insights to cross-functional Sales stakeholders to collectively create Collaboration Sales Go To Market and Route to Market strategies. 

The overall Analytics team charter is to provide business expertise, analysis and data-driven recommendations that help our field sell, and scale our collaboration portfolio through high-touch sales, routes to market, and enablement programs that are easy for the field and our partners to use. We believe in collaborating closely with other Cisco Analytics teams to utilize their expertise and scale our overall knowledge of the business. In this role, you will:

·       Utilize your Analyzes skills and business knowledge to analyze key data to explain historical, current and future business performance, define business opportunities and explain the outcome and recommendations to business stakeholders.

·       Collect, manipulate and analyze data, communicate insights in an easy to understand, meaningful manner, enabling stakeholders to see analytics presented visually.

·       Engage and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business reporting objectives and requirements.

·       Cross functional collaboration with other Cisco analytics teams to access, gather and combine different data sources as needed to meet business analysis requirements.

·       Develop directly and / or work with 3rd party Tableau development resources to create, host and maintain dashboards that help the Collaboration team run the business, identify areas for focus and provide knowledge of how to drive improvement.

·       Help the Collaboration Sales Analytics Team use data science and predictive statistical analytics to understand key business levers to reach desired business outcomes, and provide actionable understanding of how to achieve them.

·       Drive the team towards operational excellence and innovate continuous improvement of Analytics methodologies, tools, models to drive efficiency.

·       Prioritize analytics projects, establish realistic time to completion, costs and resource estimates, and help manage to those goals, delivering.

·       Help define and execute the Collaboration Sales Analytics team's long-term data and dashboard strategy and understand which data sources, analytics models and reporting tools will best meet the team's and stakeholders' needs.

Who You Are


Minimum Qualifications
 

·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus 3-5+ years of experience

·       Ability to communicate clearly to broad audiences

·       Formal background and experience in Statistics

·       Proficiency in R for statistical modeling and data analysis

·       Proficiency in SQL for data analysis

·       Curiosity about data and ability to apply critical thinking and common sense in data analysis

·       Hands-on experience with SQL, dashboarding and reporting, involving datasets and multiple data sources

·       Active and fast learner

·       Detail oriented


Desired Skills

·       Highly analytical, with a track record of being a strong problem solver; capable of translating data into meaningful analysis and insights

·       Proven track record of project management and organizational skills, with an ability to initiate, prioritize, and execute complex, cross-functional projects with minimal guidance across businesses and leadership levels

·       Power BI, RDMS (Relational database management systems)

·       Tableau development and visualization experience welcomed

·       Self-starter
