Job Description

The purpose of this role is to build, roll-out & embed best in class project management on marketing innovations, promotions, activations, value engineering and renovation through stage gate, systems, data standards, & KPIs consistent with Category & EER (PepsiCo East Europe organization) best practices & principles.

  • Keep x-functional team on track against key milestones, particularly in between Gates, to ensure that programs remain on target for planned launch dates
  • Providing world-class Commercial project management expertise, delivering solutions that enable rapid speed-to-market and flawless execution
  • Driving innovation synergies and minimizing duplication and low value-add activities
  • Ensure the team are ready for Gate Reviews, including all necessary information available and all critical tests and results complete
  • Execute / manage projects through the Stage/ Gate process and execute all innovation governance forums in the Activation Board
  • Proactively assess and manage risk including understanding and challenging assumptions to ensure project remains robust at all times
  • Challenge project plans, financials and assumptions in order to optimize P&L and timelines and minimize project risk
  • Develop creative solutions with input from Commercialization Manager and x-functional team
  • Identify & escalate risk within projects to Commercialization Manager for resolution with key stakeholders
  • Ensure together with Planning the actual results of innovations are accurately reported in FP&A and in Accolade


High level of business acumen is required (5 to 7 years business experience)

Financial knowledge & commercial understanding

Very strong, proven commercial project leadership skills

Operating knowledge of how to commercialise large scale innovation (incl Stage Gate management)

Strong commercial negotiation skills and/or commercial supply chain experience

Knowledge of PepsiCos Make/Move/Sell capability

Good understanding of market research methods

Fluent with numbers & superior analytical skills

Drive for results

Analytical thinking

Understand channels/trade P&L

Strong commercial negotiation skills and commercial supply chain experience,

Working within a complex, fluid x-functional environment,

Managing significant amounts of change and being able to influence a broad base of x-functional stakeholders & peers.
