Job Details

Pfizer is looking for a Communication Manager with proven experience and leadership to drive the external and internal communication in Pfizer Denmark, as well as building relationships towards national and regional payers and stakeholders and with a strong political network.

You will report into the Country Manager, and work closely together with the board of directors and different functions within the organization.

**Role and Purpose**

+ Office based position working across all business functions

+ Deliver strong support to Country manager's external communication and outreach

+ Develop, maintain and implement a visible internal communication strategy/corporate narrative

+ Support the board of directors in terms of the Corporate Narrative and being partner of creating and challenging internally and externally strategic plans

+ Develop and implement Pfizer Denmark's social media strategy and experience within all media platforms

+ Build and relaunch

+ Participation in and preparation of external stakeholder meetings

+ Member of relevant committees in the industry association and other networks

+ Strong knowledge of the pharma industry and ability to rapidly understand and communicate complex scientific data

+ Working seamlessly in multidimensional cross functional setting

+ Being part of a high-performing team (team player and at the same time challenge status quo)

+ Responsible for building strong relationships and collaboration with healthcare professionals, national/regional payers and politicians

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Customer Strategy and Tactics**

+ Identify and map relevant customer universe and their network

+ Develop and implement customer strategies, through relationship building and personal responsibility for allocated customer groups

+ Deliver positive, ethical and scientific messages directly to customers in accordance with agreed strategy

+ Work with key customer/stakeholders to build partnership and collaboration in order to support external strategies

+ Proactively support and prepare Country Manager on various national meetings, to explore and optimize relationships and increase our external footprint.

+ Participate in international meetings.

**Business Acumen**

+ Understanding and interpretation of trends in national and regional budgeting

+ Analytic and visionary skills

+ Develop knowledge of strategic therapeutic areas in our portfolio, in order to understand business potential

**Cross functional collaboration**

+ Participate as an active member of cross-functional Brand & Team meetings

+ Actively share relevant information about the market dynamics and developments with relevant colleagues and functions

+ Ensure close collaboration with medical, Public Affairs & Policy as well as with Market Access to align activities towards KOLs

+ Being a teamplyer for the Board of Directors

**Skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience**

+ More than 5 years of successful experience in a role in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare setting, agency or similar

+ 5 years of proven track record

+ International experience

+ Experience with external and internal communication strategies

+ Experience with external stakeholder management

+ Degree on MSc level. Journalist background is preferred

+ Strong connection to journalists focusing on healthcare communication

+ Broad knowledge and experience of national healthcare and pharmaceutical environment and decision making

+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with national and regional decision makers and a strong political network and insight

+ Communication excellence and a structured approach in preparing internal and external customers

+ Good scientific knowledge and ability to learn quickly

+ Competent to transact business with a clear and concrete communication

+ Strong "can-do" and execution attitude with an ability to see possibilities where others see challenges

+ Strong team player who is motivated by winning with the team and willingness to share own knowledge

+ Personal leadership, able to organize and strong in both planning and execution

+ Computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

+ Proven fluent in Danish and English and perhaps in a 3rd lanuage skills written and spoken

+ Support to the board of directors
