NOTE: This position requires an individual to be able to create and implement community events and initiatives within our targeted population, document their strategic planning and outcomes in system and ability to build relationships with key community leaders and providers.
Positions in this function are involved in developing market strategies to support products and drive membership / sales growth. Positions develop strategies and tactical plans to support consumer / member innovation, support new product and program launches, and combat competitive pressures. May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program/project budgets.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the Sales / Marketing team in assigned territory
  • Establish new relationships and maintain existing ones
  • Collaborate with Sales Agents and Agent Managers to understand their needs
  • Identify opportunity and develop a Marketing strategy for assigned territory
  • Share our mission to help people live healthier lives, throughout the communities we service
  • Create and implement outcome driven events within our targeted population and maintain a budget
  • Execute, plan and coordinate resources (i.e., Vendors, Partners, Sales Agent, etc.) to ensure a successful event
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding targeted growth, retention, and enrollment expectations within assigned territory
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 1+ years of experience with Medicare and / or Medicaid
  • 2+ years of marketing experience within a matrix organization
  • 2+ years of experience in a deadline driven environment
  • 2+ years of experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables
  • 2+ years of proven experience influencing and collaborating with others
  • Intermediate (or higher) level of experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel)
  • Must have access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and / or patient sites within a designated area
  • Must be able to travel (50%) within territory and work evenings and weekends, when required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Health / Life Insurance License for Wisconsin
  • 2+ years of Community Outreach field experience
  • Knowledge of CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) Marketing rules and regulations
