Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS) is a 178-bed acute care facility located in Streamwood,IL and has been providing mental health treatment to the Chicagoland community and the state of Illinois since 1991. We are dedicated to offering services to meet the ever-changing emotional and behavioral healthcare needs of children, adolescents, and their families.   SBHS has a full-time Community Liaison position available.  The candidate selected will be responsible for the following::The Community Development Liaison implements the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the leadership team while building referral relationships from assigned accounts and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the community at large, in cooperation with SBHS.  The Community Liaison will manage a territory assignment for McHenry, Dupage, Will and Grundy Counties.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in a behavioral health related field, marketing, business development or related field is required.  A minimum of two (2) years experience in behavioral health care community development/marketing with measurable results, HIPPA Regulations, Medicaid and Managed Care Providers and a basic knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles is preferred. Valid Illinois driver’s license is required.
