The Community Manager is responsible for managing a team of Community Sales Representatives (CSRs) that function as liaisons for the sales distribution team. The Community Manager should have strong leadership ability and specializes in self generating new lead opportunities that can result in sales.  The Community Manager does this by assisting their team to work with the Exec. Director of DSNP, Broker Manager’s or M&R’s Agent Mangers to determine Community Based Organizations’ connections that can conduct events aimed at member engagement and sales opportunity for potential dual SNP prospects within various community settings. The Community Manager will ensure that CSR staff follow all compliance and regulatory guidelines and ensure leads are then entered into Bconnected.  The Community Manager is expected to be present at the Dual SNP plan at community events to oversee staff, educate and influence prospects, influence decision makers, actively retain membership.

Future employee will have experience with data manipulation and research to drive and test cause / effect for member satisfaction and subsequent retention of membership. Employee will follow a prescriptive work plan in addition to aiding in the development of activities and strategies to increase member and provider satisfaction, member retention, providing community sales support and promoting preventive care in Medicare Dual Special Needs (DSNP) product. Employee will be self-motivated with autonomous work ability.
Travel will be required to hold community events and meet with members and providers throughout TN. Employee will be key support of larger cross - functional, matrix team to drive overall success of department. Employee will provide direct guidance and feedback to marketing plan and sales goals related to market knowledge and mitigation efforts.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Achieve and exceeds assigned goals
  • Travels throughout the territory (statewide)
  • Executes a sales plan that includes strategies and revising strategies as dictated by market changes, sales results and other factors
  • Understanding of CMS regulations and state and federal Medicare requirements including MIPPA and HIPPA Guidelines
  • Conducts regular ride-along with staff member to ensure both compliance with CMS standards and that sales goals are met
  • Continues to enhance and maintain a solid knowledge of Medicare regulations, the managed care industry, the competitive environment, pertinent legislation, etc.
  • Effectively recruit and hire qualified staff and provide for their training and development
  • Communicate performance expectations and goals, evaluate performance results, provide feedback to staff and administer appropriate rewards
  • Manage staff performance by providing feedback and coaching on key performance indicators and productivity
