Description

The Analytics Manager’s is to help assess opportunities identified in the Cleantech Focus Areas and support the activities of the Director in the Atlanta headquarters. The Analytics Manger will produce financial and market assessments, develop competitive landscapes, and assist in developing the materials (including business models) required to advance opportunities through the deal process. The Analytics Manager will also support the Director in developing investment themes for the broader cleantech space though primary and secondary research.

Responsibilities 


  • Develop and present appropriate analysis and documentation to support opportunity progression process
  • Perform primary and secondary market research and develop competitive landscapes and market assessments 
  • Lead or support the development on financial models for entities and activities under investment consideration
  • Gather industry intelligence, including sector technical/market developments, financing rounds, and M&A dealflow
  • Support opportunity analysis and investment due diligence efforts
  • Support opportunity progression by developing document and management communications incorporating research, analysis, due diligence outcomes


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years’ work experience, preferably in operations, finance, M&A, or consulting
  • Demonstrated research and analysis skills
Preferred qualifications include:
  • 3+ years’ work experience in operations, finance, M&A, or consulting
  • Experience with Cleantech, especially in the sectors of water, agriculture, or energy
  • Prior experience supporting M&A process
