Triages and processes field complaints filed against product manufactured at the McPherson site. Maintain site visual inspection qualification - facility the investigation process by conducting visual evaluations of return and reserve sample. Collect trend analysis data for management reviews, audits and annual product quality reviews, and exception reports.



Ensures complaint investigations are performed in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements. Receives, documents, and maintains complaint samples in accordance with plant and corporate procedures. Investigate and process customer complaints in a timely manner by providing detailed analysis of Batch Record and Laboratory Data, processing of paperwork, computer entry, and trend reports. Revises standard operating procedures and training course plans.



Requires bachelor's degree with emphasis in science, math, computer, and/or statistics or equivalent. Must have excellent, effective communication skills to interact with all levels of plant personnel. Must have accurate and concise writing skills. Knowledge of PC is required. Experience in MS Office suite, (e.g. Access and Excel), Paradox, Oracle, and SmartCAPA is helpful. Knowledge of production batch records, investigations activities, DEA regulations, defect identification is preferred.



PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Medium analytical skills are required for this job. The employee must be able to use analytical thought to determine how to get a sample returned to Hospira and to learn to send out a DEA 222 for return of controlled drug samples. They will gather, review and analyze data as part of the complaint investigation process. They will report results of work order examinations and laboratory data review. They will inspect reserve and complaint samples for problems and describe any aberrance. They will occasionally perform simple physical tests and/or an examination of complaint samples and report the results of these tests. They will compile and analyze product data for the annual review.



Colleagues who are issued any type of progressive disciplinary action on or after January 1, 2016, are not eligible to post and compete for a position for a period of 12-months from the date disciplinary action is issued.
