Position Description:

POSITION PURPOSE – The Compliance Analyst uses analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand compliance processes.  Analysts are responsible for data management, analyzing compliance performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support and enhance the compliance program.  Key roles of the Compliance are as follows:

  • Responsible for the daily activities and reporting the Compliance Analyst should be able to deal with large, complex data sets and make recommendations and changes to simplify and streamline technical processes.
  • This position typically works cross functionally with many different areas of the business and IT to develop requirements, implement changes and execute on change management.  
  • Possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative skills
  • Build queries and Excel reporting to help provide the Compliance Team and internal partners visibility into supplier’s overall compliance.
  • Manages offshore contractors to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and quality of work completed
  • Responsible for leading various compliance projects to optimize the current compliance program.  With this in mind the associate must be proficient in data analytics and MS Office Applications such as Excel and PowerPoint


  • 30% Lead all phases of a project's life cycle including defining the business need, establishing criteria and business requirements, understanding the impact to the business and designing and rolling out the project 
  • 25% Serve as a subject matter expert and perform research and/or analysis within assigned projects or category of business 
  • 25% Establish and report on metrics of assigned projects or categories to gauge business value and execute run the business activities
  • 20% Manage offshore resources to complete tickets and vendor disputes

NATURE AND SCOPE - Reports to Manager/Sr. Manager; No associates report to this role: may select team members and assess capabilities, provide technical training, provide information necessary to meet work, project or program objectives.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable 

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

EDUCATION REQUIRED - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.


PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


  • Strong data, reporting, analytic, and automation knowledge (SQL, Excel, Macros, etc.)
  • Strong communication (written & verbal)
  • Experience delivering on adhoc requests for business partners
  • Ability to multi task and drive projects to completion
  • Ability to validate tools and data for accuracy and identify root cause issues
  • Intermediate skills in PowerPoint, Word, Visio, beginner in Tableau
  • Relationship Management of Vendors and offshore resources
  • Home Depot, Special Order, Supply Chain knowledge a plus
  • Positive, professional and responsible attitude, team oriented, ability to self-start on tasks
