Are you a Sodexo Concessions Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity in stadium and arena concessions?


Currently, Sodexo is seeking a Concessions Manager 2 for our Concessions Operations at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.   This Concessions Manager will manage all aspects of Concessions Operation for football, basketball, soccer, off campus baseball – year round sporting events; inventory control, purchasing, coordinating, training and scheduling of Not For Profit volunteer groups, cash handling and controls and facility client relations. This manager must be able to plan for and manage all facets of food service for multiple events. This position is a physical position, requiring deliveries for caseloads of food, transporting foods to multiple concessions/catering venues, set up.


The ideal candidate will:

  • have previous Concession / Sports & Leisure and catering management experience in a contract management environment; and an understanding of Concession food trends.
  • have experience working with multiple non-profit and subcontract groups; with leadership and communication skills to manage 100+ employees per event.
  • have ability to register for a beer and wine license and will be present for any event where beer and wine is served - A valid driver’s license without restrictions a must!
  • have demonstrated ability to interact with high level clients, customers, VIPs to ensure outstanding game day experiences.
  • have experience handling multiple arenas, multiple events, and ability to delegate, coordinate and plan future events.
  • have Solid POS and cash handling oversight – will assist with cash controls and labor management.
  • have experience in food sanitation and be Servesafe certified, food production and costing.

Position Summary

Provides supervision for food preparation and service operations in a concessions account/unit (i.e., stadiums, amusement parks) to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through cost containment and safety.
Key Duties
-Utilizes Sodexo resources, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, stand inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations.
-Directs daily operations in a concessions account/unit to ensure employees, NPO (non-profit organizations) groups and 3rd party vendors (if applicable) have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned.
-Ensures that concessions area, equipment and storage facilities are sanitary, neat and organized. Drives a Zero Harm mindset by maintaining a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standards.
-Complies with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.e. labor, inventory, equipment, materials) and making adjustments when necessary
-Supervises employees, NPO groups and 3rd party vendors by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards to ensures that employees demonstrate an active customer hospitality orientation toward customers and clients. 



Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
