We’re looking for a Connected Car Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about defining and continuing to drive the pivotal role of Cisco IoT within this industry.  

What You’ll Do 

As Connected Car Product Marketing Manager, you will define and bring to life global product marketing strategies for Cisco’s connected car solutions.  You will develop product positioning & messaging, create customer-facing and sales-enabling content, and deliver/manage a full portfolio of sales and go-to-market materials including messaging maps, presentations, collateral, training, demos, whitepapers, etc.  You will also provide buyer insights, help identify market opportunities and analyze trends & threats. Your performance will be measured by your ability to execute on growth-marketing strategies, and to partner effectively with a high-performing, cross-functional team – including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Product Marketers in other Cisco business groups – to meet shared business objectives and achieve measurable results. If you are passionate about driving the initiatives, programs and the tools that will fuel the acquisition, activation, engagement and retention of customers Cisco’s solution in connected car, this role is for you.


  • Be the expert on our buyers and the automotive industry, build deep knowledge of the market, customers and competitors to guide content creation, sales targets, product roadmaps and GTM strategies.
  • Develop compelling product positioning and high-performing messaging, value propositions, and content that are differentiated, defensible and monetizable. Help customers and partners more effectively evaluate and choose us.
  • Build & deliver demos, training, collateral and other content the field needs to accelerate pipeline growth, close deals and shorten time-to-market. Enable sales with knowledge and tools required to increase win rates, stickiness and revenue growth
  • Partner closely with Product Management on GTM strategies, content creation, internal communications, and the development and launch of new products, releases, and updates. 
  • Create effective go-to-market plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Collaboration, Security, Infrastructure) to deliver integrated marketing materials for Cisco IoT solutions, sequence rollout/communications.
  • Optimize and manage KPI`s to measure effectiveness of product marketing.

You’ll be a seasoned Product Marketer who is passionate about the Connected Car space. You’ll be fearless in stepping into the limelight and evangelize the Cisco Jasper Connected Car solution.  You’ll also be joining a passionate team that is transforming this industry and will make a significant impact on the overall IoT industry.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Difference Maker: 10+ years of experience in product marketing in a high tech role, with measurable market driving results. 3-5 years of direct experience in and around the automotive and consumer electronics segment is desired.  Experience in marketing B2B2C solutions are also preferred.  
  • Global/Multi-product mindset: You have a proven track record for developing, prioritizing and promoting/cross-promoting multiple products simultaneously, spanning multiple audiences, industries & international markets
  • Deep audience knowledge: You are a quick study, committed to knowing your ecosystem, markets, industries, buyers and competition better than anyone – who they are, their care-abouts, considerations and behaviors. You’re exceptional at making findings actionable for sales, product management and marketing, as well as using the information to inform your GTM and growth strategies.
  • Messaging mastery: You are in a class of your own when it comes to articulating the essence of products and the value they create. You can craft a compelling narrative across different audiences, markets and channels, and know how to help the PM team develop strong messaging maps and effective content strategy plans. Plus, you have solid copywriting/storytelling skills of your own.
  • Sales Enablement: The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, and transfer that knowledge to the sales team and our customers, is crucial. Under your guidance, cross-functional marketing and content teams will effectively communicate our product value propositions and deliver the sales tools that support the selling cycles for your products 
  • Ease with data: You know how to rapidly source the data you need and use it to tell an insightful story that drives change. Leveraging data to make decisions and foster growth is second nature to you, and a skill you have successfully developed within your teams. You have a proven track record for surfacing better data and dashboards to drive towards more revenue and success.
  • Process-practical: You value repeatable practices, but not at the expense of progress. You speak up when best practices prove not to be, encourage others to challenge the status quo, and double-down when you find something that works.
