As a Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE), you will be a part of a highly dynamic and collaborative team of influencers. Cisco CSEs are vital members of the organization who develop technical solutions to help our customers achieve their business outcomes through the use of Cisco's robust portfolios. Industry leading development programs ensure you will become and remain an architecture expert who is entrusted to guide and educate our customers towards building technical solutions that drive innovation within their companies.
You will be responsible for deep technical coverage for both individual Cisco products as well as overall architectures compromised of multiple products from both Cisco and our partner third party vendors. You will be working as a part of the pre-sales organization to design and deliver customized solutions to meet your customer’s business needs. You’ll provide input into product development, help up-level peers in your technology space, and have an opportunity to participate in global activities and build global relationships. As a bonus, you’ll also work with amazing people in product development and collaborate with peers to teach and learn.

You will be part of a team that provide technical oversight and design guidance as we work with customers to position solutions from our different technology sets. You will be working with Cisco field account managers, systems engineers and partners to plan sales strategy, develop proposals, and deliver customer presentations

You will have a level of comfort communicating across all functions within Cisco, as well as with customers and partners. Deep technical product/solutions expertise. You will have experience in performing in-depth and high-level technical and sales presentations for customers and partners. Participate in Integrated Account Planning and have the ability to provide strategic vision and technology direction. Influence and Shape Product Development based on customer requirements.

Our minimum requirements for this role:
● BA/BS preferred and MBA or Advanced Degree is a plus
● 5+ years Pre-Sales experience required.
● Must work effectively in a virtual environment with a strong ability to disseminate information within an area
● Knowledge of systems and technologies used in typical IT infrastructures.
