Security Pre-Sales Specialist

Cisco seeks a Security Pre-Sales Specialist, Consulting System Engineer (CSE's) . The CSE's primary responsibility is to provide technical guidance and sales support on the Cisco Security Solution Portfolio. Candidates should be expert with Network Security (AAA/ISE, Netfolw/Lancope, NGFW, NGIPS, VPN, etc… ) , Endpoint Detection & Response (AMP) , sandbox , contents security (Email, Web, Anti-Spam) and should have a strong background in the security domain generally. Candidates should be able to explain how technical solutions can be applied to solve business problems, and should be able to speak the languages of business and technical decision makers alike.

Required Experience and Skills:

* CCIE Certification preferred
* Thorough understanding of malware, advanced threat defense and security analytics. A strong networking background is desired..
* Ability to catch up : latest Security incident and threat
* Knowledge of identity and access control policy related technologies such as authentication, authorization, accounting (AAA), 802.1X, TrustSec, posture, and profiler
* Knowledge of detecting malicious network activities by network traffic flow
* Knowledge of Anti Virus and Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/AMP) and sandbox technologies
* Knowledge of network security (NGFW, NGIPS, VPN)
* Knowledge of web proxies, caching, Layer 4-7 switching
* Knowledge of SMTP Relays and anti-spam techniques
* Knowledge of Windows Active Directory services & protocols (NTLM SSP, NTLM basic, NTLM v2 etc.) a plus
* Knowledge of networking protocols: HTTP, DNS, FTP, SSH, TCP/IP, LDAP, WCCP, SMTP
* Experience with enterprise messaging, and security
* Strong presentation skills and the ability to build and present high quality products demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences.
* Strong customer facing and relationship building skills.
* Strong attention to detail and follow-up
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience deploying physical product or appliance a plus
* Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
* Strong writing skills with the ability to create technical documentation
* Experience actively participating in telephone and video meetings, and conduct email conversations in English
* Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills in English (TOEIC 750+)
* Native Japanese speaker

Responsibilities:

* Technical pre-sales support for Cisco-direct and channel partners sale teams
* Proactively seek out new sales opportunities by developing new and existing technical relationships within accounts
* Present Cisco technical value proposition to customers and partners
* Proactively drive new and incremental business opportunities
* Provide Cisco product education to our Direct and Channel Partners
* Ensure success of customer evaluations
* Documentation of client feature requests and issues for Product Management and Customer Support
* Support Cisco and partner seminars and industry trade shows
* Drive the design of customer solutions using Cisco Security Solutions
* Develop technical knowledge of Cisco and associated technologies
* Participate on a consistent basis in the SE discussion forums
* Assume the role of a mentor to other systems engineers when appropriate
* Proactively keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
