Service isn't something you just deliver, but a driving force to your work. If this describes you, Sodexo is looking for an experienced Consumer Experience Designer. This opportunity can be located VIRTUALLY. 


The Consumer Experience Designer will support segments in the application of consumer experience design methods. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the latest methods of gathering human centered design and consumer design experience. Facilitating energetic sessions with people from different backgrounds will be a critical skill in this role.  Some of the other responsibilities include:


  • Supporting segments with development and facilitation of experience design projects and workshop sessions
  • Driving the development of "next practice" experience design approaches/tools to understand deep consumer needs and produce actionable offers
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to capture best practices and develop tool kits to further operationalize the practice
  • Working with various teams to communicate visual deliverables, using multi-media presentations and techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the latest methods, tools, technology, and best practices in human centered design. Understand if appropriate application of user experience design methods, where and how to within the context of designing new offers and cohesive experiences. 
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and experience design sessions in a broad group of segments
  • Capacity to navigate complex situations by leveraging networks to gain alignment
  • 3-5 years experience with similar work
  • Ability to travel and work in a global environment
  • Strong visual communication experience


Position Summary

Supports segments in the application of user experience design methods, where and how to within the context of designing new offers and cohesive experiences. Creates experience design methodologies/approaches to more accurately define and reframe client and consumer problem/challenge/outcomes, in order to uncover new value. Further develops and cultivates Networks/Communities of Practice for Insight & Offer Development by evolving competencies and experience design methods.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
