Prudential Retirement delivers retirement plan solutions for public, private and non-profit organizations.

The Contract Analyst:

  • Drafts, issues and reviews complex contracts, amendments, riders and other agreements in support of new and in-force business.
  • Prepares and submits documents to state insurance departments for approval.
  • Crafts language for non-standard provisions.
  • Authors procedures and participates in special projects.
  • Provides technical guidance to junior associates.
  • Builds effective relationships with business partners in order to facilitate an efficient and positive business climate.

The Contract Analyst may prepare model documents to ensure compliance with state law and for use by a drafting system or for manual drafting.

  • 2-4 years of experience working with retirement products, legal or contracts
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Solid Microsoft Word skills required; familiarity with Outlook is a plus
  • Outstanding conceptual thinking and analytical abilities
  • Results orientation with a sense of urgency and strong customer focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (a writing sample will be required)
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to partner effectively with associates of all levels
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Supervisory experience a plus
