Primary Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate non disclosure agreements (NDA) with customers and their vendors, consultants etc.  Explain the company's position and rationale on contract terms (legal, business and financial) and develop appropriate compromises in NDA language while maintaining compliance with legal and business requirements, relevant data management policies and laws/regulations
  • Manage multiple contract priorities for a complex customer caseload
  • Produce required NDA documents meeting expectations of timeliness and quality
  • Communicate risk and explain NDA language, terminology and United data sharing policies appropriately to sales and other business partners
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the team on escalated NDA related issues, including a role in developing negotiating positions and supporting documents and tools
  • systems and technology to administer the NDA process
  • Lead and/or participate in special projects/assignments as required

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in health care insurance with proficiency in business operations
  • Prior work with NDAs strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated strong project management, analysis and teamwork skills
  • The ability and desire to work in a highly dynamic fast-paced environment, within tight deadlines while quickly shifting priorities, serving multiple customers and managing multiple assignments
  • Strong people management skills; clear and honest communication practices; ability to communicate and work well with people at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability in expressing ideas and influencing others and building consensus among many stakeholders
  • Ability to work well independently utilizing good judgment and decision making skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentations skills
