The Corporate Supply Chain Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Contract Technology Specialist-System Administrator.

The Contract Technology Specialist serves as System Administrator for contract management system (Apttus) to meet the contracting requirements of the company.  Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure the system configuration supports all business objectives and legal requirements.  Troubleshoots and manages resolution of complex system functional issues.   Assists with general maintenance and system upgrades as required.    Takes the lead in creating training materials for distribution to the field. Trains key stakeholders in their use of the Apttus enterprise contract management system. Serves as the contract management system primary point-of-contact for UHS hospital end-users.  Troubleshoots and resolves pertinent Service Desk tickets.   Serves as the Supply Chain Services primary liaison with customer support teams and UHS Information Services Department when required.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborates on implementation of the Apttus contract management system.
  • Initializes agreements and templates in system.    
  • Oversees system user maintenance and workflow configuration.
  • Coordinates System reporting and dashboarding.
  • Manages Template administration.
  • Maintains clause library.
  • Maintains contract repository.
  • Responds to Service Desk tickets by resolving system technical issues or escalating toUHS Information Services Department when necessary.
  • Conducts system maintenance and upgrades as required.
Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

  •  Familiarity with electronic contract management systems.  Contract management system administration experience preferred.   
  • Direct experience/ knowledge of the Apttus contract management system and/or the SalesForce platform preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of contract life-cycles to facilitate tailoring systems to meet company and business/operational stakeholders’ needs.
  • An aptitude for learning new software systems.
  •  Ability to: implement complex contract management systems; work directly with key business stakeholders, various corporate departments, UHS facilities and in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to train new and existing users on contract management system fundamentals and best practices.
  • Ability to create training documentation (instruction guides, FAQs, online simulations/courses, etc.) in order to train end-users on overall system functionality.
  • Ability to maintain a customer service mentality.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Information Systems

Experience: Must have familiarity with software systems including contract management systems, e-billing, document management systems and e-discovery systems.

License or Registration Requirements: Apttus and/or SalesForce certification is a plus; Training: Ongoing Apttus/SalesForce and other system training as necessary in order to keep job skills current.

Travel Requirements: Some travel potentially required for training or other assigned projects.
