Job Description

Meridell Achievement Center is a 134-bed private residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents who have emotional, behavioral and neurobehavioral problems. Meridell is seeking a dedicated person to  become a part of our dedicated dietary team to prepare and serve meals to our patients.  Must be flexible and be willing to work weekdays as well as weekends.  Must be able to read, write, follow directions and communicate with effectively with patients and staff members.

Job Requirements

::Education: High School graduate or equivalent.  5 years directly related experience may be substituted for education requirement. 

2.         Experience: Prefer previous experience working in a dietary department.

3.         License/Certification:  Health Card

4.         Skills:  Ability to read, write, follow and give oral instructions.

5.         Essential Physical Requirements: Physical demand is heavy, requiring frequent lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 30 lbs, considerable walking, standing, pushing and pulling of equipment.  Stooping, kneeling and reaching is required.
