Position Summary:
Palo Verde Behavioral Health (PVBH) is a 84 bed private psychiatric facility providing inpatient and intensive outpatient psychiatric services through treatment programs tailored to our patients needs for the purpose of creating positive outcomes. PVBH will build on the excellent skills of our current Psychiatrists, licensed registered nurses, clinical social workers and licensed professional counselors to support these programs. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle, recipes and production sheets. • Able to follow recipes and menus • Excellent work ethic • Creative Skills • Computer skills • Interested in learning and growing your skill set • Knowledge of therapeutic diets a plus What we can provide for you: • Excellent Benefits • Training and continuing education • Comprehensive onboarding program • Coaching and mentoring
• High school diploma or GED • ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain • 2 years’ experience as a cook in an restaurant, Senior Living or the hospitality industry • Able to work weekends and holidays Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
