The Coordinator - Quality Management is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination and implementation of Quality Management performance improvement activities. This position monitors data relevant to organization-wide quality metrics, regulatory compliance, patient safety, risk management, infection control, patient experience, and any other analysis requested to support the organization’s achievements of goals.

Essential Job Duties

 

  • Reviews Risk Reports, Regulatory and Accreditation surveys, Tracer activity, NHSH Infection data, Patient Experience, Value based Purchasing / Pay for Performance data and other Quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepares reports on Findings, Outcomes and Recommendations.
  • Promotes a multidisciplinary approach to the provision of quality improvement activities facilitating effective communication throughout the Quality Management Team.
  • Supports the implementation and maintenance of the Tracer Program.
  • Assists in the implementation of initiatives that support compliance with Regulatory standards. Assists with Mock Surveys and educational and training sessions.
  • Provides project management support for Patient Safety Council initiatives.

 

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare management with five or more years' experience in Clinical Quality/Operations Improvement or healthcare organization management.

  • Self-motivated, professional, enthusiastic leader with excellent written/verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with healthcare quality metrics, healthcare employees and physicians.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, open, team environment.
  • Knowledge of Access and MIDAS preferred.
  • Travel potential up to 25%
