The Clinical Coordinator responsibilities may include but are not limited to: implement and maintain clinical schedule for the Clinical Services department consisting of consultant updates, family sessions, individual student sessions, student staffing, ITP’s, psychiatrist appointments with student and requested family contact. The coordinator will be the liaison to parents with needs related to therapist contact, logistics, student ITP’s, visit agreements and other parent needs. May be required to support Therapist absences by conducting psycho-educational groups with students. Transcription of therapist progress notes and other Best Notes entries as requested. Assist with parent education in the form of emails, e-blasts, newsletters and parent seminar organization and delivery. The Clinical Coordinator will be the liaison with the Central Billing Office for issues related to billing and insurance information, including communicating with insurance companies regarding clinical services provided. Oversee the maintenance of the master student record and filing of documents to the record. Ability to maintain security of confidential/sensitive company materials and HIPPA regulations. Must maintain an open and friendly attitude to be viewed as a resource for students, staff and parents. Responsible for Company and personal Service Excellence standards.

Experience with clinical environment; including, DSM codes and medical billing procedures.
Ability to verbally communicate in English. Working knowledge of English grammar, business formats, and spelling.
Proficient ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Intermediate to advances computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with job specific computer software systems.
Keyboard skills 50-70 wpm. – Intermediate 10-key skills
Intermediate to advanced transcription skills
Excellent customer service skills including by person or telephone.
Excellent ability to manage time and tasks
Excellent ability to work independently with limited direction, as well as in a team environment.
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree in Social Services related area required, Masters degree in Social Services related area preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years experience working with children and families with clinical/psychological and learning disabilities. Experience as a case worker in a social services setting preferred.
