Job Details

**To position Pfizer as an industry leader, shaping issues critical for the future of healthcare and ensuring patients access to innovative medicines.**

**To provide strategic and operational leadership in terms of governmental affairs, public relations and corporate communications in order to achieve business goals.**

**Provide timely info within the Business Units about public critical issues and get internal alignment to have a clear company vision and position.**

** Lead and coordinate Pfizer's positioning in key public organizations, including stakeholders, elected officials, regulatory agencies, key policymakers, government departments and Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs).**

** Active participation and influence in key Commercial Chambers, Industry Federations and Amcham.**

** Influence external environment from a policy, regulatory and legislative perspective by creating and strengthening relationships with decision makers and stakeholders in order to achieve business goals.**

** To represent company interest in public agendas and becomes the face of the organization interacting with internal and external stakeholders and adding value in both ways.**

** The Public Affairs and Communications Manager is a key part of the strategy-decision making process to obtain a positive public opinion and political will to advance in key business strategy.**

** Accountable for a successful deployment of PR plan, internal and external communication plans**

**Functional responsibilities**

** Lead relationships with Legislative assembly, Judicial Power and other relevant public entities.**

** Stakeholders mapping and alliance building to ensure Pfizer's position in health or policy issues.**

** Chambers and industry Associations' representation. Active participation in Chambers, Industry Associations and Working Committees at a local and regional level in order to align their activities and initiatives with Pfizer's interests.**

** Monitoring of governmental and legislative initiatives to identify new business opportunities, anticipate risks and counteract adverse initiatives. In particular, monitoring of the health care system evolution to anticipate local healthcare reforms in order to mitigate impact on business.**

** Development of position papers, scenario analysis and public affairs strategies to influence the debate in the public agenda in favor of the company.**

** Identify main client groups and audiences and determine the best way to engage them.**

** Understand the public policies and government programs to identify new opportunities to offer support and solutions.**

** Create awareness and promote a favorable intellectual property rights environment.**

** Drive and manage the long-term strategy to obtain a positive public acceptance of Pfizer's business initiatives.**

** Build and support strong external stakeholders network at different levels in the public and private sector.**

** Build strong internal networks to understand commercial needs and goals in order to align Pfizer's external initiatives.**

** Political Analysis: observe and report on social, economic and political trends that might affect Pfizer's business. Anticipate potential barriers with stakeholders and synthesize public information as input to Pfizer's medium and long term strategy**

** Manage Pfizer's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, aligning those with the global strategy to communicate and engage key stakeholders.**

** Leads corporate communications, external and internal. Defines the communications strategy and implements the corporate communications plan.**

** Promote Pfizer's institutional image and corporate reputation.**

** Provide strategic assessment in crisis and issues management**

** Coordinate media trainings for internal and external spokespersons to improve performance and define Pfizer's position.**

** Develop and oversee institutional brochures, institutional presentations, videos and other corporate communications pieces.**

+ Bachelors Degree in Laws, Political Sciences, Public Relations, Economy or Journalism. Post graduate courses preferred.

+ 5 years of experience in Health, Pharmaceutical or food multinational companies in the areas of public affairs and / or communications.

Fluent in English.
