*Role Description*

The role will serve as the primary support for Pfizer's Global Commercial Operations (GCO) organization in North America supporting activities in the US and Canada. The role will provide Compliance support for Pfizer colleagues managing policies, processes, and systems in areas such as promotional speaker programs, HCP engagements, physician sampling, sales incentive compensation, promotional material operations, and multichannel marketing. The role will serve on the North American GCO Leadership Team, provide ongoing advice and guidance to colleagues in GCO North America, and ensure Compliance issues identified in this space are appropriately escalated. The role will also serve as the primary point of contact between other Compliance functions, such as Business Unit Compliance, Compliance Monitoring & Analytics, and Compliance Investigations, and GCO North America. The role will also work closely with the Compliance Lead for Global Commercial Operations to manage key Compliance projects in North America and globally.



*Responsibilities*

*Serve as the single point of contact for providing advice and guidance on Compliance issues to GCO North America leadership team and colleagues on policies and processes in areas managed by GCO.*Ensure that existing policies governing GCO North America operations continue to address current risks in a changing Compliance environment and identify new areas where additional policies or processes might be necessary.*Lead strategic Compliance projects in the areas of policy, process, and systems that impact the control environment for Pfizer commercial operations in North America.*Serve as the primary contact from Compliance on any GCO North America project or initiative.*Coordinate all relevant remediation related to GCO colleagues or operations resulting from Compliance Investigations or Corporate Audits.*Organize quarterly Compliance committee meetings and support periodic Compliance certification for GCO North America VP.*Work with GCO Compliance Lead to ensure global projects and initiatives properly account for any impact to control environment managed by GCO North America.



*Qualifications*

*Strong academic background, Juris Doctorate Required;*5 years significant experience at a top-tier law firm or an in-house pharma position dealing with federal false claims act, federal anti-kickback statute, OIG regulations, pharmacovigilance issues, and/or the foreign corrupt practices act;*Experience advising on internal policies and process;*Ability to translate legal requirements to practical suggestions and real world solutions;*Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across a variety of organizations and individuals;*Willingness to travel when needed.NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel when needed.
