Job Details

Assist the Cairo Manufacturing Finance Manager with the PGS Budget process. This includes calculating, preparing the plant spending budget files and communicate it with the budget holders and allocate the budget figures and roll out product cost



Assist the Cairo Manufacturing Finance Manager with the Forecast preparation and submission



Prepare various monthly and quarterly reports for the Site leadership Team



Perform analytical review including variance analysis of month end financial results and provide commentary on major movements to ensure results are complete, accurate and meaningful.



Act as a conduit between Finance and the Site colleagues to resolve issues and communicate changes.



Oversee the general Chart of Accounts for the General Ledger to ensure no violation to cross validation rules and appropriate attributes are reflected correctly in alignment with corporate reporting requirement. .



Develop, update and implement policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and insure the required level of Internal Control.



Monitoring the budget figures on Monthly basis to ensure that all expenses are recorded on the right allocations.



Responsible for reviewing the fixed assets register (additions, removal &; impairment assessment).Responsible for the reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, also preparing aging reports following up with them



Assist in all audit activities including external (KPMG) and internal (CIA) audits. Ensure all audit requirements are met by disseminating, collating and preparing documents for audit requests.



Responsible for reconciliation of monthly and YTD site financial results in both field and consolidation results, ensure the accuracy and communicate any needed adjustments.



Monitor the monthly closing to ensure proper financial results and work with commercial finance team in issues related to the TB submission/product cost, supervise the closing process, resolve any outstanding issues, reviewing source analysis and work closely with NY team to fix any existing errors.



Administer approved general accounting practices throughout the company to ensure accounting, financial and operating reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business and provide reliable information for compliance and management purposes.



Review &; post all the operational Journal entries on daily basis.



Monitoring the Vendor spending on monthly basis.



Prepare GMX submission



Performs all needed 'ad-hoc' operational analysis.Manufacturing Finance department supports all manufacturing operations either for Pfizer Global Supply or corporate requirements. This includes controlling and directing plant assets, production performance and procurement results. This is through analysis of manufacturing variances and performance metrics. The responsibility of this department includes implementing PGS policies and procedures, monthly results and reports, budget and forecast, as well as developing internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and meet Audit requirements.



The Analyst position within the PGS Finance Team is responsible for participation in a wide variety of areas impacting the monthly financial close including monthly closing reports, preparation of various management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and submissions of data/analysis to global systems. In addition, the individual in this role will interact with Site leadership team as well as Market Controller on reporting requirements, key processes and system/reporting capabilities.

Some of the responsibilities will include:







+ Prepare all month end closing financial reporting activities in ledgers for Cairo Site. Ensure all reporting deadlines are met. Ensure accounting standards and policies are adhered to.



+ Prepare various monthly and quarterly reports for the Site leadership Team



+ Perform analytical review including variance analysis of month end financial results and provide commentary on major movements to ensure results are complete, accurate and meaningful.



+ Act as a conduit between Finance and the Site colleagues to resolve issues and communicate changes.



+ Administer approved general accounting practices throughout the company to ensure accounting, financial and operating reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business and provide reliable information for compliance and management purposes.



+ Oversee the general Chart of Accounts for the General Ledger to ensure no violation to cross validation rules and appropriate attributes are reflected correctly in alignment with corporate reporting requirement.



+ Work with sales and production teams to better align the sales forecast to the production forecast.



+ Develop tools and procedures for the monthly/quarterly IBA forecast. Assign accountability and targets to each department to better control and utilize resources.



+ Work closely with site leadership team to minimize manufacturing variances and develop plans to offset variances driven by changes in operations.



+ Assist the Cairo Manufacturing Finance Manager with the PGS Budget process. This includes calculating materials cost, calculating plant spending, role out product cost, and prepare Operating Budget Templates. Support the site leadership team to meet all budgetary goals including CIP and cost reduction targets.



+ Ensure the annual standard cost for all SKU's (Raw, Packaging, Bulk and FG) have been set accurately to minimize variances.



+ Develop, update and implement policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and insure the required level of Internal Control.



+ Enhance the use of systems and applications to maximize efficiency and improve accuracy.



+ Provide decision support to the site leadership team using proper financial tools and analysis.



+ Provide business analysis in order to highlight areas of improvement and maximize site performance and efficiency. Develop a culture of continuous cost improvement.



+ Review product sourcing alternatives (make vs. buy) to better utilize plant capacity and minimize product cost.



+ Support site management in the evaluation of expansion/acquisition opportunities, including capital expenditures, using the proper evaluation tools.



+ Assist in all audit activities including external (KPMG) and internal (CIA) audits. Ensure all audit requirements are met by disseminating, collating and preparing documents for audit requests.
