The Horsham Clinic is a 206 bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus. The Partial Hospitalization Program Counselor’s essential duties are to provide direct care under the supervision of a Program Coordinator, Attending Psychiatrist, or designee. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, activities of daily living and communication with referral sources and families.

Job Requirements
  • 2-3 years experience working in Mental Health setting
  • Bachelors in Psychology/Human Services required, Masters preferred
  • Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/ aggressive behavior. General hospital environment.
  • Must be willing to work with children, and adolescents
  • Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of behavioral mental health, classroom management, and positive reinforcement
  • Highly Developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Proficiency with common computer based applications such as electronic mail, word processing and various databases

Must be willing to travel to Delaware County Facility!
