The Brook Hospital is currently seeking an Outpatient Counselor to join our team.

The Outpatient Counselor is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.  Major job functions include: obtaining psycho-social assessments; conducting family/group therapy on assigned cases; complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure; case coordination; coordinate discharge planning; assist in developing and maintaining community resource information; performs marketing functions as assigned; assists in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security; ensures good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care; participate in continuing education activities.

Job Requirements

 

Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences; three (3) years post Master's experience or significantly compensating prior experience, inclusive Family Systems background, group therapy, case coordination activities, and specific treatment related to adults, adolescents and geriatrics in outpatient settings.  Must meet State Law regulations for credentialing clinicians. 

Must be Kentucky Board Licensed (e.g. LCSW, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or CSW under supervision.
