The Country Brand Lead (CBL) will join the brand marketing team responsible for a Cardiovascular brand in Italy.

This brand is a key growth driver within Pfizer portfolio and it is providing several CV patients the opportunity to embrace life.

This role provides a great opportunity to contribute to the ongoing growth of the brand and to further develop your brand marketing experience, enhancing your strategic and tactical implementation skills within an Alliance operating model.

The CBL has a pivotal role in the Alliance Cross Functional Team. He will actively contribute to drive operational excellence at a country level and to bring customer & marketplace insights into the regional team with the aim of influencing and shaping European strategy. This role will deliver flawless execution of marketing plans whilst creating sustainable value and incorporating financial and analytics skills.


Reports to Sr. Country Brand Leader

Has a continuous relationship with all relevant internal stakeholders in country (e.g. sales, medical, access, finance) and above country (e.g. European Regional Brand Team members).


+ **Strategy Execution to Optimize Growth**

+ Actively contribute to the definition of the Country Brand Plan

+ Support the execution of brand strategy in country through the flawless implementation of projects and initiatives

+ Meet/exceed local revenue targets

+ **Leadership**

+ Develop productive and collaborative relationships with Alliance partners in the development and delivery of agreed strategies and tactics

+ Influence the members of the Alliance Cross Functional team shaping the activities to achieve success

+ **Financial Planning**

+ Accountable for the planning, spending & controlling of budgets agreed for programs of responsibility

+ Support development of regular forecast updates to aid financial planning and support business decisions

+ **Customer Engagement & Insight**

+ Coordinate with customer facing colleagues for customer/digital activities/programs to ensure strong external stakeholder & customer engagement

+ Ensure that customer and patient insights as well as market issues are well understood and processed into the local business plans

+ University Degree (scientific or economic)

+ Knowledge of local pharmaceutical market and healthcare environment

+ At least 5 year experience of brand marketing

+ Knowledge of cardiovascular market (preferential)

+ Experience with co-promotion (preferential)

+ Experience with matrix organization working

+ Fluency in Italian & English language

+ Knowledge of Italian regulatory policies

+ Willingness to travel as required

+ Track record of working collaboratively with others across functions

+ Experience interacting with external customers & stakeholders and acting upon customer insights

+ Well organized with ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and effectively perform under tight timelines
