**Country Compliance Lead (m/f)**







The key responsibility of the Compliance Officer is to support Pfizer AG management in attending to their risk control function to assure compliance with laws, regulations, SOPs and corporate guidelines. The Compliance Officer reports directly to the Country Manager and works closely together with Department Heads, Legal, FD/CCR, and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. Medical Compliance). She/He will coordinate all compliance related activities (e.g., training, project management, written standards, communications, reporting, auditing, monitoring, enforcement, discipline, investigations) and be responsible to assess and provide guidance to the business to effectively manage risk, improve internal controls, and help develop compliant business solutions. She / He will be supporting all Legal Entities, Business Units and all departments to ensure compliance. Additionally, the Compliance Officer will take the lead in coordinating internal and external audits (excluding Finance, Medical and Safety audits as well as Corporate Audit).

**Regulations and SOPs:**







+ Assure compliance with laws, regulations, SOPs and corporate guidelines



+ Advise and support the development and implementation of policies and procedures at BU and product level and ensure compliance policies are appropriately rolled out in collaboration with CCR and other stakeholders



+ Conducts investigations in support of Pfizer Switzerland's compliance with laws and regulations



+ Assists with assessment of compliance with internal and external policies and procedures



+ Closely monitor corporate guidance, SOPs etc - links to regional and global compliance, legal, finance teams. Local liaison to global, regional compliance peers.



+ Closely monitor local legal and compliance guidance and how they affect local processes and responsibilities







**Business and Compliance**







+ Understanding of business strategy; proactively advise the business of associated risk and risk mitigation options in collaboration with CCR and other stakeholders



+ Partner with the business to develop and implement tools which empower the business to make ethical and compliant decisions



+ Continuous improvement of compliance: minimize burden to business without compromising compliance and control



+ Regular reporting to the CM and CMF on status, open issues, trends, etc.



+ Regular alignment with Legal, FD/CCR and Medical



+ Promote transparency within the business; ensure management is appropriately informed and supportive of investigations



+ Responsible for yearly disclosure of financial benefits under the Swiss Pharma Co-operation Code







**Training, Communication and Support**







+ Develop and implement training programs and communication strategies to educate employees at all levels of the organization



+ Coordination and execution of trainings to ensure colleague's compliance



+ Contact person for the organization for the implementation of new compliance programs and procedure issues



+ Maintenance of training records (SAP user access)



+ Compliance Helpline functionality







**Projects**







+ XBU project ownership, management and coordination



+ Implementation of x-functional compliance systems



+ Takes the lead on internal and external audits (excluding Finance, Medical & Safety audits and Corporate Audit)







**Quality Systems and Audits**







+ Implement and maintain global systems and processes and translate as relevant into local policies and processes



+ Supports and conducts internal audits to verify that all business transactions have been conducted with prevailing policies and procedures



+ Analyzes existing rules and guidelines on their suitability for existing/new business processes (excluding SOX/FCPA - testing performed by CCR)



+ Reports on deviations and presents recommendations



+ Supports the development and completion of CAPAs (Corrective and Preventative Actions)



+ Advises on weaknesses of managerial control and identify areas where new policies/procedures are needed



+ Helps develop Country Risk Management Plan







**Safeguards Knowledge Capital/ Site Security Officer**







+ Verifies existence of Pfizer Switzerland's assets and ensures that proper safeguards are maintained to protect them



+ Ensures protection of Pfizer know-how by implementing and monitoring local and corporate policies concerning: Intellectual property, Data protection, integrity and administration, Privacy







**What you offer:**







+ University degree in Law, Finance or Business or other applicable degree



+ 8-10 Years of diverse Pharmaceutical experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical or related field



+ Experience in compliance program management and risk management practices while demonstrating knowledge of compliance processes, legal requirements, and business operations



+ Strong audit experience



+ Demonstrated compliance client support experience in a global pharmaceutical or related healthcare organization or consultancy firm supporting healthcare clients



+ Ability to work effectively and sensitively in a matrixed organization across geographies and cultures



+ Demonstrated knowledge of regulated environment and risks of Pharma industry



+ Comprehensive expert knowledge of Swiss industry codes and standards



+ Excellent verbal, presentation and written skills in German and English



+ Required language skills: German, English and preferable French
