What You’ll Do

The Country Marketing Manager is a key role within the Marketing Organisation with accountability to craft and drive the implementation of an integrated marketing and communications plan across the country. You will be responsible to ensure that the plan is aligned to overall global, EMEAR and local business. It will meet marketing and communications objectives, and drive impact and results that support the country business. 

This requires strong alignment of the country sales leadership team – which is a combination of driving an appropriate balance of activities in support of the plan and securing sales partnership of marketing execution.

The role requires a good knowledge of Cisco’s technologies and solutions, the market landscape plus experience in crafting and driving effective integrated marketing programs and technology launches. 

  • Building the brand – through awareness, preference and thought leadership activities.
  • Digital – define and execute a digital strategy across the marketing and communications plan. This encompasses social media, media buying, and digital presence.
  • Content strategy – working closely with the EMEAR Content Managing Editor, Theatre Marcom and subject matter experts to define and deliver a content strategy for the country that delivers against the marketing plan which incorporates segment plans.
  • Segment – partner with Sales to settle segment priorities for Commercial, Private and Public Sector to drive the country business.
  • Communications – agree strategy and execution with communications country lead to align to marketing, communications and business priorities.
  • Innovation center / Country Digitization Acceleration – define and implement marketing plans for the innovation activity within the country.
  • Handle agency selection, performance, and day-to-day management working with the Marcom team in EMEAR and country.
  • Partners – define partner strategy with the Commercial Lead and in-country Partner Marketing Manager to handle partner marketing funds (including virtual wallet), to support overall engagement plan specifically marketing knowledge and execution within the partners.
  • Revenue marketing – deliver the SQL and bookings targets agreed with the Eastern Europe Marketing Leader.

  • You bring excellent market expertise and knowledge of the latest market developments.
  • You are experienced in channel marketing.
  • You are a strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate and lead in a cross-functional team environment.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
  • You are passionate about people management and development.
  • You actively self–develop for continuous improvement.
  • You bring business and marketing qualifications or equivalent work experience.
  • You are fluent in Polish and English (written and spoken).
