Join a goal-driven sales and operations organization with the opportunity to grow revenue quickly!  This position is responsible for providing the direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of project management functions associated with large, complex projects and ongoing small cell real estate and compliance functions, including landlord relations, and tracking and managing recurring critical events related to leasehold interests such as lease renewals, zoning renewals and regulatory submittals, in order to protect our long term leasehold interests.  This includes scope of work review, risk assessment & management, project planning, estimating, tracking, reporting and management.  Facilitates communication across operational groups, and ensures compliance with the defined processes and implementation. 
Major Tasks
  • Work with the carrier sales team and cellular carriers to support Cox’s small cell offering, including project managing large, complex small cell projects.
  • Abstract financial data and terms from lease documents and prepare accounting forms required to initiate rent payments, including adjusting rental payments based on escalators; Maintain accurate/timely entries of lease, property and project information in database of record
  • Coordinate third party invoicing and billing.
  • Set up landlords for electronic payments, as necessary.
  • Support Carrier Sales billing team with tenant billing.
  • Track critical events, such as lease renewals, zoning renewals and regulatory submissions.
  • Manage all ongoing landlord relations, including resolving typical landlord and access issues.
  • Maintain and provide certificates of insurance and bonds as required.
  • Ensures that local processes conform to all contract commitments made on behalf of Cox to each carrier, including pricing, trouble management, SLAs, and network performance requirements.
  • Provide Cox approval of regulatory and environmental compliance tasks and coordinate escalations with Cox Regulatory Affairs department for Land Use NEPA issues, such as SHPO and THPO, to the FCC.
  • Provide project and financial status reports as necessary.
  • Foster and manage strong communications and relationships between internal and external project support partners.


  • Requires BS/BA in related discipline and 3-5 years of experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in a Project Management role leading cross functional projects
  • 3+ years of recent experience in a Site Development, Leasing Specialist, Property Management, or related role
  • 3+ years of experience with lease administration and negotiations
  • Familiar with wireless telecommunications industry and wireless regulatory compliance strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with office automated applications; strong organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communication
  • Proven ability to communicate with various functional teams and management levels
  • Proven ability to resolve simple to complex problems
  • Ability to aggregate financial and lease data, and report to management as necessary
  • Dedicated professional with integrity
  • 3+ year’s successful experience in wireless carrier relations and/or wireless carrier account management.
  • Small Cell industry experience and examples of previous projects deployed under applicant’s leadership.
