You are a skilled graphic designer, video director/editor who wants to work towards our goal of creating award winning content. Content that serves our audience and elevates our brand.


You will be working in the Japan Marketing Team, where we are building a world class content and creative services production team. You will work alongside marketing managers at regional and country levels to make content that is always-on, customer focused, country relevant and mobile first.


You will be working with a range of teams on a range of different focus areas. From end-user audience campaigns, to partner and distributor, executive and internal comms.

Also you will be working on creatives of Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics sponsorship initiatives to amplify Cisco’s business.

You will be responsible for designing and producing graphic content for many audiences across many different content types including: 

·       Web banners

·       Graphics for social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)

·       Infographics

·       EBooks

·       Email templates

·       PDFs 

·       Video case studies


You’ll understand corporate branding and the importance working within a creative framework you’ll be able to spot something that’s “off brand” at a quick glance while thinking of creative ways to fix it.


Along with the creative manager you’ll be briefed by the campaign and country teams, then be expected to handle multiple projects with different stakeholders, deadlines and deliverable types. 


You’ll be expected to work both independently and as part of a team. Working with other producers to produce high quality creative, including Tokyo



·       Proven graphic design experience

·       Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense

·       Confidence, to present and explain ideas to colleagues

·       Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)

·       Illustration 

·       HTML5 banner creation 

·       Some copywriting skills

·       Knowledge of Digital Marketing tools

·       Native in Japanese, fluent in English, any other language would be considered an advantage.

·       Demonstrable understanding and experience of working across languages and cultures.

·       Video filming, post-production experiences are plus.


The Team 

You will be part of the APJ in-house production team supporting content and digital marketing and reporting to the Brand and Creative Services leader. You will work with the regional and Japan creative and campaign team, our global brand team and our traditional agency partners.
