The Credit Risk Analyst will support the day-to-day operations of Pfizer's Global Credit Risk Center of Excellence through the delivery of financial risk analysis and mitigation strategies across various worldwide markets. Along with analyzing customer financial statements and industry/country economic reports, the selected candidate will work with internal and external colleagues around the globe in order to effectively understand commercial accounts receivable risks presented within a variety of market settings. In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, the selected candidate will work on key continuous improvement initiatives for optimizing the delivery of Credit Risk services.


+ Responsible for supporting the credit risk assessment of Pfizer's GFS customer AR portfolio.

+ Responsible for determining the credit risk classification and for supporting the establishment of credit lines of all customers within assigned portfolio.

+ Maintain that the Credit Assessments of strategic customers are completed in accordance to set timelines and quality standards.

+ Responsible for understanding, communicating, and mitigating macroeconomic and political risks across assigned market portfolio.

+ Responsible for escalated high risk accounts which require close management of credit exposures and order fulfillment while minimizing Pfizer's exposure to loss.

+ Assist in the day to day responsibilities of Pfizer's Global Credit Insurance Program.

+ Develop and maintain appropriate measures for monitoring portfolio risk across serviced markets.

+ Responsible for contributing to the analysis, recommendation and implementation of the Allowance for Doubtful Account reserve policy for Pfizer business units/markets supported.

+ Provides financial analysis reports and the evaluation of financial strength on entities seeking to do business with all Pfizer business units.

+ Proactively work with key stakeholders in preparation for sales initiatives, ensuring adequate credit line availability relative to customer business requirements.

+ Interface regularly with GFS AR, GFS Collections, and Customer Service for all Pfizer business units.

+ Participate in select GFS Order-to-Cash initiatives.


+ 0 to 2 years of Credit Risk/Financial Analysis experience in a manufacturing setting

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics from an accredited university

+ Strong analytical skills to perform in-depth financial analysis and present cogent conclusions and recommendations to management.

+ Strong commitment to customer service with demonstrated ability to handle conflict in a positive and professional manner.

+ Russian language capability preferred.

+ Demonstrated ability to apply leading edge technology solutions to enhance business processes.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated business acumen.

+ Ability to confidently interface with international and domestic stakeholders


+ Demonstrated ability to conduct risk analysis at the microeconomic and macroeconomic level.

+ Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to changing environments.


+ Role may require occasional adjustment of work schedule to accommodate international business partners;

+ Occasional travel may be required.
