Job Location: Pennsylvania-Dresher

Prudential’s Utility Check Processing team, located in Scranton or Dresher, part of the Enabling Solutions Organization,is currently seeking a Customer Service Associate to process incoming payments that are not automatically applied in the administrative system(s). The primary focus will be on work received for the Group Insurance and Individual Life Insurance business units. The Group Insurance and  business receives payments from institutions, TPA's and individuals which are mailed directly to the appropriate lockbox.




- Review and evaluate fallout from the lockbox to ensure appropriate payment application

- Handle a variety of related tasks including: wires, protests, return of overages and unidentified items

- Handle situations that may require extensive research utilizing Prudential's various business platforms for reference

- Associates must adhere to service, productivity and quality metrics

- Ability to cross-train across all Prudential US Businesses

College degree in business preferred or equivalent experience.

  • 0 - 2 years of experience in insurance industry customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as this position has frequent contact with associates within and outside
  • the department.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and independence to meet production, service and quality goals.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and team in a team oriented environment
  • Position requires great attention to detail and accuracy.
