New Business Operations is responsible for the compliant/regulatory set up through issuance of annuity client applications received from independent broker dealer, Pru Advisors (Proprietary), and Bank/Wirehouse distribution channels. Close consultation and partnership with sales wholesalers and financial professionals to handle and resolve client requests/transactions. Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

 

- Influence Positive Quality results at an individual, team, and departmental level through coaching by providing detailed feedback and action steps to case managers.

- Collaborate with New Business Management at all levels to further department strategic objectives with a focus on Quality trends and valued added solutions
- Influence associates and peers on leading customer experience opportunities, compliant process management, and problem resolution.  

- Participate or lead project strategic initiatives

- Acts as an expert on New Business processes, procedures, and requirements.

- Partner effectively with multiple business units such as needed: Accounting, Compliance, Exceptions, Product, Risk, Sales, Tax and external vendor companies.


- Minimum 3 years of annuities or other financial services experience in customer service, operations, processing or production roles.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word. and Visio experience a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships- Able to work effectively with colleagues across multiple locations / virtually.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while under tight time constraints
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results while often challenged with time and resource constraints in a face paced environment.
- Technically sound with strong process skill set. Able to work through complex scenarios, deliver streamlined solutions and adapt to change
- Comfortable with risk management; to include auditing, control reporting, and financial management.
- Demonstrated peer leadership in diverse team settings.
- Confident communication and presentation skills.

- Experience with workflow management, service level agreement & control adherence.
